【李陳信得／台中報導】中秋連續四天假期但天兔颱風攪局，各媒體又大肆報導會帶來強風豪雨，台中市府又宣布停班停課讓谷關溫泉區飯店業者退房率達八成以上損失數百萬元。
 
谷關社區發展協會總幹事尹敬倫表示，原本中秋連續假期各飯店幾乎都客滿，天兔颱風對谷關溫泉區雖然沒有影響，但許多遊客一聽氣象預報就急著退房，退房率達到八成以上。週日是假期的最後一天，幸好不少散客趁天兔遠離後到谷關溫泉泡湯，對業者來說不無小補。
