債限、政府關門雙重壓 VIX恐慌指數睽違數月飆破20

《MarketWatch》周二 (8日) 報導，反應投資人對股市戒慎程度的「恐慌指數」(Volatility Index，VIX) 本日出現飆升，竄漲至 3 個半月以來首見新高點 20.39。

美國華府對於債務上限以及預算議案仍陷僵局，不僅難以脫離關門且眼看國債違約就在眼前，股市亦遭逢重壓下挫。

VIX 指數近期竄升 5.1％ 至 20.39，是 6 月 20 日以來僅見巔峰。自從 10 月 1 日美政府關門大吉以來，VIX 指數已飆漲將近 29％。

政府關閉迄今，道瓊工業指數累計下跌 1.9％、標準普爾 500 指數挫低 1.1％，Nasdaq 綜合指數亦縮減 1.6％。
