加水電瓶與免保養電瓶哪種比較好？

我的2001年ALTIS免保養電瓶快掛了，想換新。
聽說加水電瓶壽命比較長，所以想換成加水電瓶，
但有兩個問題想請教有經驗的大哥大姐們：
1.免加水電瓶好像會排出氣體，聽說最侵蝕鈑件，是真的嗎？
2.ALTIS的電瓶固定夾片，兩端寬中間窄，這樣可以閃過加水電瓶突出的加水孔嗎？
以上兩個問題如果都沒問題，我就要換了。
