【陳俐妏╱台北報導】工研院產業經濟與趨勢研究中心（IEK）半導體研究部經理楊瑞臨指出，台灣IC設計將持續受惠全球手持裝置低價化趨勢，中國市場崛起帶動，預估明年將可年增8.5%達5142億元，再創台灣IC設計產值新高。
 
展望未來，楊瑞臨認為，面對新興穿戴裝置，人機介面互動技術發展，加上物聯網和情境感知應用發酵，IC設計業者宜積極掌握以人為本市場趨勢發展，從原本IC設計和晶片設計銷售的營運模式，擴大至人機介面、情境感知等中介軟體開發與軟硬系統整合業務模式，貼近終端需求，才能擺脫中國IC設計業者競爭，逐步追趕美系大廠。
